Gaxx Worx is where Luke Gygax and fellow artificers collaborate to create new games and accessories for your entertainment. It was founded in 2018 and is the force behind Founders & Legends Day streaming events and publishing Luke Gygax’s World of Okkorim fantasy setting.  Gaxx Worx recently completed a successful campaign to bring The Heart of Chentoufi, an adventure by Luke Gygax and Matt Everhart, to gamers around the globe. We are a veteran-owned company focused on creating well-designed and fun games and gaming accessories for everyone, whether it is your first day or you are a seasoned veteran.


Who is Luke Gygax?

Luke Gygax is the son of Dungeons & Dragons co-creator Gary Gygax and literally grew up rolling d20s at the table with the game designers that founded the TTRPG industry. He has authored several role-playing game accessories over his lifetime including The Lost City of GaxmoorLegion of Gold (GW1) with his father, Gary Gygax, The Trouble at Loch Jineeva with Jeff Talanian, The Blighted Lands series with James M. Ward, as well as an official Call of Cthulu RPG module, The Dread From Geneva Lake with Skeeter Green.  Luke is currently working on the Oculus of Senrahbah series with Matt Everhart, a 5e compatible adventure in his World of Okkorim setting.

Luke is best known for founding and  operating Gary Con TM), a memorial game convention held in honor of his father, in their hometown of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Gary Con (TM) attracts dozens of Guests from the earliest days of the role playing industry to the top designers creating the newest books and games.  He is active in the Los Angeles gaming community participating in streaming D&D games and interviews, and even hosting his own streaming event every July called Founders & Legends on Twitch.tv/GaryConLive.   Luke retired from the Army in 2022 as a  lieutenant colonel with 33 years in service.   He resides in Southern California with his beautiful wife, Bouchra, their three daughters, Miriam, Amira and Sabrina, and his faithful canine companion Grogu.

 

Who is Matt Everhart?

Matt Everhart, who also goes by “KC Rift”, has been playing Dungeons & Dragons (among many other role-playing games) since receiving the Red Box from his uncle back in 1983. Even then he was dreaming up new worlds and new adventures for his characters and those of his friends to journey through. While his family, including his wife and four children, and his military career take priority, Matt is nevertheless constantly writing and creating RPG content in his free time. Matt published his first sourcebook, The Deductionist, for the Pathfinder 1st Edition RPG under Total Party Kill Games, LLC. Since then, he has been publishing several other source books and adventures including: Winter’s Grim Tiding, The Shadow Boys of Telflamm for Forgotten Realms, Long Was the Night, Dance of the Pumpkin Kingand The Trouble with Truffles

As a writer and contributor for Gaxx Worx, Matt is currently working with Luke on the Oculus of Senrahbah series and launching his new campaign setting “Strange & Grim” – a new dieselpunk setting compatible with Dungeons & Dragons 5e, using the Everyday Hero RPG engine by Evil Genius Games!
